I don't even use the stock filters. I let my engine breath in EVERYTHING...flies, small birds, dogs, cats. You know...

A little tip, "use the search button" It does wonders. Just type K&N filter and you will get many threads.
Also, just installed mine yesterday but haven't had a chance to drive the car.

Ahh, I'll help the rookie out, he's taken enough on this one.
You got the reponse you did as you did not use the search engine. That is a super basic question that would show up ALL OVER on search engine. Also another question to stay away from "How do I get more power" and also "what tuners are there" All searchable and lots of info there.
To answer your question, most are using K&Ns while some use Green Filters. Both provide about the same power boost of like 10hp or something. Maybe 15. Bottom line is you won't feel it...YET K&Ns are 100% needed as you get upwards in hp when modding. The air intake is a major restriction on our cars and the more they can breath, the more they reward with nice hp gains. Like large TB up to 80mm safely and 82 mm with a few issues reported.
These guys are some of the greatest on the internet. Just letting out some frustration when people don't search. Beware of Emoving though.....he has little patience with rookies.
Super nice once you get to know him.
Hope that answered your question. Now use that dang search button.

A 4rwhp gain can easily be attributable to statistical noise

I use Brita filters. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
All joking aside. The question should be who doesn't use K&N. Haven't searched that topic, but I'm sure there is more than enough reading material on this forum to keep you busy for the weekend

I'd say 80% here use the K&N filters... while the other 20% use BMC, green, AFE etc
We stock both the K&N and BMC filters if you would like to purchase these.
