Hello Arlen,

Was there a specific reason why you didn't just remove the resonator from your OEM mufflers instead of purchasing a aftermarket muflers and removeing them? Just curious, because I'm thinking of removing the resonators from my OEM mufflers.

Do you or anyone else know of a reason not to go this route?

Thanks in advance,
Tony

Well the only reason i went for this route is bc i heard a sound-clip of PHATISFY's car and wanted to have exactly the same sound. Well if you just cut-out ur resonators and keep your OEM mufflers, you are running the risk off ***king them up, bc resonators also lower the temperature of the outcoming exhaust. Like say engine puts out temp 1000 F, after its passed cats its 500 F, after Resonators are 250 F and finally mufflers take -in 250 F from Resonators and lower it to 100 F, if you cut out Resonators, then mufflers will take-in 500F instead of 250F.
2nd reason is because if you remove just mufflers it will sounds more like hot-rod.

It depends on the material, if the place who does wraps uses cheap material it will likely leave glue behind it. The one used on my car is high-end brand thats specifically designed for the car, so nothing will happen to it
