The very first Alpha Performance component for the Mercedes-Benz 45 Series AMG (A/GLA/CLA45) lineup is now available with more to come in the near future! We began with an obvious hindrance to the performance of the 45 AMG series platforms which happens to be the stock intake air filter assembly.
The factory intake was designed conservatively in an effort to muffle intake and turbo sound. Unfortunately, in order to do so, inside diameter of the inlet is reduced to a suffocating 2.6 inches! The Alpha 45 Series AMG Performance Intake System widens the inlet to 4 inches using a CNC billet aluminum adapter flange while offering a pleasant, more aggressive intake sound that you’ll actually appreciate.

Here is the actual dyno chart from the test. The high number for the after test and the low number for the stock test were thrown out to show a real world gain. As you can see our engine HP chart posted above is very conservative as this dyno shows over 25whp in some areas.
