for Mercedes 45 and 250 Cars
If you are the proud owner of a Mercedes A, CLA, or GLA, life just got way more awesome! Actual ECU Tuning is now available for your vehicle. We offer ECU Tuning for the 250 and 45 models as well as the 180 and 200 for international customers. The advantages of ECU Tuning over a Tuning Box or a plug in module is that you are tuning the actual tables of the cars brain. The Tuning Box kits deliver great power as we have seen on our own CLA250 and CLA45, but with ECU Tuning, you can account for catless downpipes, improving throttle response, raising the speed limiter, and more custom needs. As dyno tested by a tuning partner of ours, the A45 on 93 octane baselined at 358.6 hp with 460.5 N-m of torque. With the ECU Tune completed, the car put down 401.7 HP and 545.6 N-m of torque. That is a very nice gain of 43 horsepower to the wheels and 85 N-m of torque!
The ECU Tuning for the Mercedes does require the ECU be mailed into the Vivid Racing Headquarters where we bench flash the ECU. This process does require us to open the ECU case, but we do not solder or alter the board in any way. The process takes 1 day and we have your ECU overnighted back to you.
