Problems after fitting Weistec downpipe and midpipe

Problems after fitting Weistec downpipe and midpipe
Hi All,
Hoping someone can help.
My dad fitted a Weistec downpipe and mid pipe M133 with cat fooler to my 2015 A45 recently. After fitment and test driving the car seemed fine. After driving it longer I noticed that the car went into what I think is a failsafe mode and the acceleration was very slow no matter how flat you depress accelerator. So I removed the plug n play thinking it was that. I contacted the plug n play manufacturer and they said that their units only work with stock setup. Seemed to be fine but after I floored the car today it happened again. Once car is turned off and back on the acceleration is normal but after some driving the problem continues.
Anyone know what the problem could be?

Nortech intake kit with K&N filter
Litchfield plug n play unit
