A45 steering when setting off
I've just purchased a A45 amg 4matic. Is it normal for the car to judder every time when putting the full lock on the steering wheel until straightening up and driving away? Thanks Ray.

yes it is likely normal and it is nothing to do with it being a merc issue. It is to do with basic geometry and will happen with any car that doesnt have four wheel steering and has a turning angle of greater than a certain amount.The angle of your front tyres when turning full lock mean the arc distance of each front wheel is different. The outer tyre is covering a larger distance than the inner tyre. Unless your the width of your tyres can widen relative to eachother one front wheel must keep skipping off the road surface while in full lock which is probably the sound / judder you are experiencing. Different tyres do it differently as some can just slip without you noticing it. Sports/low profile tyres such as those on the A45 will skip much more dramatically. Whereas a regular tyre might just make a squeeky noise rather than a full on skip. This is because a sport tyre has a much stiffer sidewall compared to a "regular" average joe tyre which is more flexible and will slide across the road more gradually
