A45S AMG High end seats leather vs dynamica/alcantara
So here's the deal. Just this Monday I put the deposit down on my configuration for the W177 A45S here in The Netherlands. I test drove one A45S with the alcantara red sports/non AMG seats and I got to sit in another with the top trim AMG seats as I have them specced. I also got to sit in the back seats of both cars. That's where I really noticed a difference.
The back seats of the alcantara A45S were plush and pliant, meanwhile the leather ones were still comfortable but firm and with far less give. I suspect the ideal sport/comfort setup trim wise would be AMG seats + alcantara, but I'm not sure why there was such a noticeable difference between the 2. Anyone have any experience with the leather trim and if it gets softer overtime? From my personal experience leather never really gets more comfortable, just fits you more. Any opinions welcome.
