All Hail the A35
This is one of the most delightful cars I’ve ever owned. Nimble, terrific road feel but not harsh - soaks up bumps like a champ, doesn’t rattle your dentures.
We are Benz fans; have dabbled outside the brand and always seem to come back. We’ve owned 1990 1995 1998 2005amg 2014amg 2020amg E-wagons, 1997 2009amg 2014amg SLs, 1996 2002amg S-classes, 2008 2011 2013 2016 ML/GLEs and this A35 stands on its own.
There are a few little things that I wish it had: no HomeLink, no soft-close doors (yes, I’m being picky but i love those), no wireless CarPlay (although I solved that with an Ottocast which works brilliantly), no power hatch, and I’d love to be able to raise the suspension in dicier circumstances.
But it is a delight!!
