Retrofit Stering Wheel 2019yr

Im very glad to meet you all here!

Recently, I bought a new steering wheel with Drive Unit buttons for my 2019 A35 AMG (part code: A0994605508).
My default steering wheel didn’t have these buttons.
The problem is that after connecting the new steering wheel, the left and right navigation buttons don’t work. The “OK” button works fine, but the Drive Unit buttons don’t work at all—there’s no power or functionality.
Is there a way to code it to my car or do something else to fix these issues?

Yes drive unit needs to be coded to the car. It won’t function just by adding on a steering wheel that has the feature.

Subbed for interest, I have a 2019 45, with every good option, cept the wheel.

I bought an AMG wheel from Vivid 4 years ago, starting to mod now, may install it, dont care for the slick carbon rim and yellow rally strip.

I would have thought OP's issue avoided by xferring the oem wheel brain to the new rim, is that not possible, or the case? ican the recode be done by user with 2 factory keys? or a cert mech, or trip to the MBUSA dealer dongle ?

I coded my drive unit to the car and it’s fantastic.

Check with the dealer, they’ll probably have a fix for you.
