Hi guys. Does anyone know if these are easily removed or if they’re part of the inner fender liner? (Referring to the thin black plastic along the upper rear edge of the fender). Cheers
So unfortunately those are installed to comply with US regulations that state the tire cannot extend beyond the fender. Most of the time they use adhesive to attach them. If you look underneath and there are not bolt holes, or little plastic discs to conceal the bolt holes, then it’s most likely an adhesive. To add to it being unfortunate, automotive adhesives are stronger than welds in most cases!!
Thanks a lot for the reply. I will have to remove the wheels and have a good look inside the wheel well. It flexes easily so hopefully it’s just held on by a plastic press stud of sorts or at least two simple little screws. Will find out….
