GT43 2-door coupe wheel size w/Active Ride Control

According to the AMG GT Order Guide and the Build app on MBUSA.com, the Active Ride Control option is not available with the 19" wheels that are standard on the GT43. Is this an arbitrary requirement, or is the ARC option so different from the standard AMG sport suspension that the 20" or 21" wheels are needed to clear the suspension components?

I did find this note on the listing for 19" SL43 wheels on Alloy Wheels Direct website.

"Only suitable for SL43 and SL55. Not suitable for these models with AMG-Ride Control Suspension (SA459), Dynmaic Plus Pack (P71) or Active Ride Control Suspension (470)"

This warning implies that the larger 20" diameter wheels are a requirement to clear the Active Ride Control suspension components.
