2025 AMG GT 63
New AMG GT 63

Well, I went from ordering a 2027 AMG GT 55 to grabbing a "brand new" 2025 AMG GT 63 and I'm sure glad I did. It's a total unicorn car as well: it's hyper blue magno with sage grey interior.. It’s so wild that it’s rad. I love it. It’s a brand new with just 36 miles on the odometer and I got over $30k off in total. It was a custom order that was backed out of.

I moved from a 2023 S 500. It’s obviously stiffer than my S Class but it’s not bad at all in comfort mode and I can see myself DDing this very easily. I think the 20” wheels plays a part versus the rubber band 21s that everyone gets. The 21s do look nicer but I'm sure they're even more stiffer. I'm fortunate this has 20" wheels as 99% of all of the 63's I've seen online at dealers have 21s. 20 inch wheels was what I wanted to begin with due to my desire to put on all seasons.

The Sage Grey interior gave me pause when I saw the dealer photos, but it looks absolutely epic in person. It's extremely unique. It's subtle and classy looking and contrasts nicely with the black parts in the interior.

One thing I noticed is that the tablet screen is noticeably smaller versus the S Class. I couldn’t tell from the looking at photos, but it’s like 75% the size, which isn't surprising due to interior space. The S Class is carnivorous in comparison.

One thing I was worried about was the base Burmester “surround” system, which is the lowest tier Burmester versus the base 3D in the S. I checked off the high-end Burmester on my custom build but I had no choice here. My fears were unfounded because it’s good. After playing around with the settings, boosting the base volume and bass levels and turning off noise compensation, it sounds very similar to my S class both in loudness and clarity. I really enjoyed the Burmester in the S and was afraid of taking a downgrade. Not anymore. It’s great and the smaller interior volume really helps with the soundstage and surround feeling

This also has the front axle lift, an option I desire but consider a luxury. Also, it has a HUD! The first Mercedes of my three so far that has one lol. HUDs should be standard in all trims for all cars.

Finally, the deal on this was too good to pass up. The money factor on 2025 models is heavily subsidized versus the very high 0.003 on the 2026 MYs. This is the first car in a long time that I park and look back at. Also, I got prepaid maintenance for free. It was one of the bargaining items. It’s listed at well over $3k on the worksheet.

This thing is an absolute riot to drive and I haven't even moved it out of Comfort mode yet. Wow, amazing machine. If there are any 55 shoppers (or 63 bargain hunters) out there, I would highly suggest looking for a new 2025 63 collecting dust on a dealer lot and getting that. Conversely, 2027 is not too far away, how many 63's do you think will still be around next year? Just food for thought.

Oh that is why, you also posted in the W223 sub-forum, I thought all the post disappeared for some reason.

Congratulations and looks like you got a great deal. My concern about buying a 2025 MY would be that the car could possibly have been built in 2024 sometime as I've seen many that were. That's a long time either sitting in Germany or on a dealer's lot, and it's a long time for fluids to decompose and seals to go dry. I'm not suggesting this has definitely happened to yours, but it's a possibility.

Everything is fine so far. Not one rattle or squeak. No wind noise. Nothing. *knocks on wood*. The leather is pristine like in any other new car. I’m fairly certain this, along with most other dealer GT63s, are/were stored indoors in their showroom. Being able to buy a 63 one year older for the same price as a 55 is worth it to me.

I’m happy. This thing is a riot and the color is amazing. I would have never chosen it on my own accord but man, it’s unique in a sea of white and grey cars and so many random people have stopped and complimented the color and car.

Glad you started to love the colour more, given your initial hate. It is a flashy but amazing colour.

The AMG GT coupe is a gorgeous design that looks great from every angle.
The Hyper Blue Magno is also an awesome color in sunny weather. It really pops.

Also don’t be too cautious breaking it in either. The car will drive better

Man, I’m loving every minute driving this thing. I haven’t geeked out on a car this much since my first car in high school. The unadulterated no-mild-hybrid V8 is epic. I always wanted a 911 but abstained when their prices went crazy. I would choose this again if given a choice between this and a 911 up through the GTS with no cost considerations. I would probably take the 911 turbo over this, though lol. I would definitely take a GT3 touring over this.
