2020 AMG GTR Pro

Hello,

I am considering purchasing a 2020 AMG GTR Pro. I really like the styling of the first gen facelift cars which are much more aggressive than the new ones. The new ones have all wheel drive and seem to be more a true GT car. I am wondering if anyone has experience with these cars in terms of any mechanical issues or reliability? I am sure it likely has a better sound too given how everything is muffled these days. I live in Canada and do not plan to race it just enjoy it during the summer then park it for winter. I would appreciate any thoughts or opinions or whether it's better to wait for the new gen to release. I should also mention was thinking about getting a GT3 Porsche but given the outrageous markups from dealers I just don't want to give them any business. I have had multiple Mercedes Benz vehicles and currently driving a 2023 GLE 450 couple and love it so am loyal to the brand.

i ended up with 2020 gt r pro in may this year, after friend needed out.

have to admit it is a hard core car, and not really suitable for daily driving.

the wing mirrors for example, are high and will created blindspot where you might otherwise see peds crossing, on street you are waiting to turn left into, which could be disastrous.

i tuned it to 750hp, but it is laggy.

i have r231 sl65 which is tuned to 735hp, and it is not laggy now, a real nice car to drive daily.

everybody stares at the pro tho, nobody really notices the sl65, lol

Which turbos did you use to get 750hp?
