labor on lowering springs
Any ideas how many hours I should expect to pay for install on springs on all 4 sides?
The shop I use hasn't done a GTS yet and they were guessing anywhere from 6-10 hours on most German cars they do.
Thanks

I recently did the springs, I haven't been billed yet but I can tell you that it is not an easy job. Get it done by an experienced shop and get it done right, then get an alignment.

+1. It wasn't any easy job. My mechanic is very good and it was still a physical struggle for him especially the rear.

I had mine done at Weistec back in 2015 and it was the first one they had lowered; they had to literally pull most of the interior out to do the job = PITA.

That's right. The 3 nuts to remove the rear shock needs to be accessed from inside the car. So most of interior trim pieces in the rear trunk needs to be removed. Also the suspension bushings are really tight and they were a beatch to get back into shape to reassemble.

Yeah, they had to remove my aftermarket subwoofer etc to get it done. I think I ended up paying 6-7 hours.
