For those of you, who already have your cars.
Is there a break in procedure for the AMG GT S?
And what is it?

Can't be much different than this

Vary engine speeds for the first 1,000 miles.
Avoid driving at full throttle during this period.
Change gears before throttle is two-thirds of the way to redline.
Do not manually downshift to engine brake.
If possible, do not depress the gas pedal enough to cause a downshift.
Ideally, drive in "c" mode for the first 1,000 miles.
Do not drive faster than 85 mph.
Only allow the engine to reach 4,500 rpm briefly

My car has been at port since March 11th and should be released this Wednesday. I am under the impression that all cars are being released on the same day US wide.

It has been pushed back until next Friday and that is only for VIP Priority cars, the rest of the Edition 1's will leave the following week.

At this point you probbly have at least a two week wait based on the info I was given by someone high up at MBUSA.
