New AMG GT S Edition 1 - Floor Mats, Car Cover, & Clear Guard
Hey everyone! Brand new to the forum and I just picked up a 2016 AMG GT S (check the pics I uploaded!).
I wanted to know if anyone knows anyone who sells all weather floor mats for the GT S. I won't be driving this in the snow, but it would be nice to have all season for the rain and such.
Also, anyone know who makes a solid indoor car cover (besides MB)?
Lastly, has anyone done clear guard for the front of their car to prevent chips and scratches? If so who brand did you use and what are your thoughts after having done it? Does it look non natural? Does it get swirl marks from washing it? Any info here would be greatly appreciated! Oh, also what parts did you end up wrapping
Thanks!

Congratulations on a great choice. As for expel, I had it on my last 911 and once it is done, the paint just does not have the same luster as the areas uncovered. It looks good, but never great. Besides, just how much are you going to drive GTS in the crap vs how you want it to look when you do drive. Regardless of how yu feel at the moment, you are not going to keep the car forever and at the time of parting, the expel will not get you any more money. Enjoy your ED1 for what it is.

No help for your questions but 2 days ago I picked up what looks like the identical exterior and interior. Your pictures look great I need to take some in sunlight (else I'd show off yours to my friends but that would be weird).
Hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.

I don't know if you already did the clear cover but I did it on my AMG GTS in San Antonio by Expel. They did an EXCELLENT job. Highly recommend. Much better than the 3m on my GTR.

Congrats on the new car. It is gorgeous. You guys are killing me. Waiting for the base car to come out and the wait is excruciating.
I will vouch forXpel as well. You have to find a great installer. Reach out to local car meets where you can talk to people and see their cars.

This would be my color but for my habit of black cars. ....
This bra thing has me confused. Local guy is 1300$ on front clip hood etc. and he doesn't like xpel.
Looking for a June delivery on a base GT as well.

I ordered Cover craft indoor car cover (same as Ferrari issued). Perfect fit and lots of colours to choose from. Rather than weather matts I use Scotchguard protective spray on Mercedes matts and that should do the job. My car is Matt finish so no way for me to put a protective 3M on nose. Great looking car, enjoy it!

You can use the Xpel stealth protective film on your matte car. It either makes a standard paint job look matte or keep the look of an OEM matte paint job.

the only issue with covers is going to be scratching the paint if the cover is dirty or dragged across the paint work...... I've been warned against it by a lof of folkgs so I went the satin clear 3M Expel.... looks amazing.

Love it. Gonna do mine in yellow. Please tell me the process on how you changed the dark steering marker. I hate it. You can't even really see it. Why they did that I have no idea.

Mine is wrapped with Suntek. Both Xpel and Suntek are very similar. I also applied 2 layers of Gyeon MOHs and a layer of very slippery Gyeon Skin.
I use Weathertech floor and trunk mats. Recently added RW rear diffuser.
