Didn't Mercedes make cars for the *****? Just sayin'
Jkjk but seriously, I think the guy who signed my car might be a ****. I don't have any proof but that's just my theory as to why my car sucks so bad.

Underwhelmed by GT-S quality
Like some of the other people replying to this post I've owned lots of really nice cars...
I took delivery of my GT-S in March and I too have been pretty underwhelmed by the issues I've faced with the car.
This isn't a gripe due to the rrp of the vehicle, I'd be as p***ed off if I'd bought a £15k A-Class to be honest.
I bought the GT-S originally to avoid the fragility of more exotic Italian cars but I'm beginning to wish I hadn't. My car wouldn't start last month and this month the sports exhaust has just thrown its hand in... it now sounds pretty much like a 350 c-class!!!
Still waiting for the car the dealer promised to return a week ago. I'm now on a journey to explore rejecting the vehicle, I've done just 1,550 careful miles in it from brand new but to be honest I don't think it's ever been right...
Regardless of my love for the timeless classic lines I can't be bothered with having to deal with my dealer month in month out for such problems...
DEFINATELY not what I signed up for, you guys have been warned...

I also have been having issues my dealership sucks, car has been in the shop 3 times first for the Transmission clunk in 2nd gear in comfort mode, then while riding hard a few time the car stop accelerating and the check engine light came on fault code P0087 (fuel rail/system pressure, happened 4 times and they could not find the cause. Then I take my car in for service A and they break my windshield. Now today take the car to my mechanic and have him review my car he finds a leak in the right front axle seal. none of these thing have been resolved, going to BMW next i think!

May I ask what your manufacture date is?
Also, have you considered going to another MB dealer and opening a formal MB AMG Customer Care report?
FWIW: All of your issues can be fixed in a couple of days.

i was so pissed off but really liked the car that I took a hit and replaced it with another one.
my second one has been almost flawless until the 5000 km Mark, at which point it also started to stink of burning oil. But I really like this one and have kept it, 15 months and 10,000 Kms until my GTC arrives (hopefully next week).

Your problem is your dealer; which you’ve already mentioned sucks. I found a cert AMG mechanic at a local MB dealer, and only he services my AMG. I never let anyone else touch it. Using a mechanic who doesn’t really know what he’s doing can do a lot of damage and lead to a ton of frustration.

That seems excessive for a hand built engine IMHO but i am not an engine maker.
