I opted for a 19 inch square set up to optimize cost and performance. I sold my GTS and selling my wheel + tire set here. MB World Listing

Stick to the factory sizes. Schmee on YT drives his GT R with SottoZeros year round, and that has much wider tires than the GT.
If you look on the fuel door inside you may see two different sizes for M+S vs summer. So there may be a narrower option for snow; but keep in mind it likely requires a narrower rim.

Anyone driving a GTR on Sottozeros ‘year round’ needs their head examined. Unless maybe they live in Siberia.

You took my comment too literally. The GT R is driven year round - obviously you wouldn't drive in the summer on winter tires!

Confused on winter tires

I have a 2016 GTS. Running in Seattle and using the car as a daily. Of course the summer tires are now like concrete in the morning.
I need to get a winter/snow tire on her.

But I’m confused on my options. My car has the stock set up. I would really like to save $$ and just do tires. But it seems like there is nothing that fits.

is there an option for a tire. And where can I get it that I can simply swap out the tires for the winter on my current rims. Or is a different wheel essential. Also note i have the ceramic brakes.

hoping there is a tire only option ?

Hi, what are your OEM tire sizes?
michelin pilot Alpin should fit.

There aren’t many choices for the 305 rear. If that’s what you have.

295/30/20 Rears and 265/35/19 fronts
When I have searched I draw a blank. but conscious maybe there is a slightly different size that may fir the stock rims? if you can point me to a set or website that has anything that would fit would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Tire Rack’s site sucks in this regard. If you search for these sizes specifically on TR, they should come up. Michelin Alpin and Pirelli Sotto Zero, and I think Blizzak should all have these sizes. I got the Alpin PA4, same front size but 305 in the back.

Yup, if I put the OEM sizes in to Tire rack there is no options for winter tires.
online at Michelin they suggested 265/35/19 and 295/30/20 would fit. but again back to Tire rack and they don't have that size.

any idea if those recommended sizes by Michelin would actually fit my rims? don't ask me the specs on my rims though, I have no idea but these ones...

Ok called Tire rack and based on them assuming my rear rim was 11 inches wide ?? correct ??
they recommended the Soto Zero in 265/30/19 for fronts (oem Size) and 275/35/20 for the rears. quoted me $1550 plus tax.

Does that sound like it would fit?

The OEM size is 265/35R19 XL (front) and 295/30R20 XL (rear).

This is what I ordered from 1010TIRES.com with no issues:
Pirelli Winter 270 Sottozero Serie II Tires 265/35R19 XL 98W
Pirelli Winter 270 Sottozero Serie II Tires 295/30R20 XL 101W

This winter is my second year with these tires on my 2018 GT. They work fine. That said, I have a separate winter setup with aftermarket Zito wheels so as to minimize wear and tear of changing tires for the season. In the photo below, my summer setup is top photo, winter setup is bottom photo. I hope this helps.
