Steve & Shahul: Great to work with

Hi:
Newbie here. Found Steve and Shahul through the Board.
From the first contact I had easy and informative exchanges with them. Enthusiasts who love cars and it shows.
It didn’t hurt that their offer bettered my local dealer.
While I ultimately tripped across an offer I couldn’t refuse these 2 guys maintained their demeanor as only a true professionals do.
I will be back.
I would suggest anybody looking for a dealer to give Steve and Shahul a call.

I second that. Got my GTC from them in April. It couldn't have been better.

Can Steve & Shahul tell us what's going on with the GT cabs? It looks like there is a glut of them on the market nationally. They don't appear to be selling the way the coupes are.

Or am I just wrong?

You are not wrong--- the GT and GTC cabs are soft and are sucking up flooring interest. Now there was a multi month stop sale on the GT/GTC cars that was from last year into q1 of this year but we are well past that.

Any idea what kind of discounts are available for GT cabs in California? I got almost $8K off my 2018 GT coupe last September from Northern California.

If a car has been sitting, I mean really sitting for 6 plus months- most dealers are paying reserve on the flooring and will move that car at 10% off. There is about 12% in the car from MSRP to triple net of holdback.

so is it that no one likes the cabs? is the performance that much off from the coupe because of the extra weight? or was it just too many units made expecting something else...

I think the majority of buyers (who are not here) wont care about the small performance difference- its negligible. Id equate it to just pure supply and demand along with price points. They are not cheap cars- especially the GTC's which can reach past 160k--- I think a buyer who is not educated well in the performance of the hot V setup and Benz's chassis improvements would end up rolling over to Porsche for a GT(S) car in Targa or cabriolet format.
