My build
This car was already being built and I swooped in just in time to change everything. Car will be here in October.
The only thing I couldn't change was adding the "AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package 1" the dealer said it was all sold out for the year.
Build is attached below, disregard the price that's obviously not the real price.
In a nutshell:
Selenite Grey Magno (almost got the green, but changed last minute)
Exterior carbon fiber package "2"
CCB brakes
Yellow stitching/seat belts
matte carbon fiber interior trim

I got an update from the salesman, the car is built and just waiting to be shipped! So far it's about 1 month ahead of schedule which is great.

I hate to burst your bubble but the GTs aren’t scheduled to be launched/released to dealers until December. Same with E63s (I’m waiting for my E63 wagon which is currently sitting at the VPC in Long Beach).

I've got an E63 wagon myself too by the way.

Ugh! So that schedule is 100% dead accurate for USA delivery cars? Why would they build thousands of cars only to have to pay to store them and protect them for 3 months? How long has your wagon been in Cali? Your salesman has confirmed that you wont be getting it until December?

When the second round of BMW F80 M3s came out in calendar year 2015, there were major shortage issues with getting carbon fiber roofs. As Shahul says, no car manufacturer is immune from this issue.

As an owner for almost 12 months now, I can tell you that this car is so special, and so good at everything it was designed to do, that it would be simple to actually diminish it in various areas versus 'improve' it.
Just my opinion of course.
