A friend of mine carried 2 bikes via the rack you show. His trip covered thousands of miles at some very high speeds in his ZO6. Solid as a rock with no issues at all.
I have been using this rack for the last 12 months. Works great especially when you can see the orange lines thru your glass roof. I do have an SUV for my bikes but once in a while I like to make the journey more fun.
No way I'm risking my baby (Yeti SB 130 XX1 ) up there like that. I'd be too worried about the suction cup failing. If that happens, say goodbye to bike and a bunch of paint on the car. Not to mention the liability of the bike falling off and potentially causing an accident.
Totally agree. Not to mention the bike getting pelted by road debris. I'd never put my S-Works Epic or Venge up there... not to mention it ruins the lines of the car...

Why don't you buy one and try and instead of ****ting on the people that offered a viable solution?
you can use roof rack, trailer hitch rack or just stuff it inside.
My wife keeps telling me she wants a small efficient car, then she stuffs her bike, golf clubs, luggage, cooler, and the dog in the GL and, the kayak on top and goes to Vermont.
Roof just high enough to clear the rear derailleur

Traded in the GT and got the GTR last winter. Able to use the suction cup on a few occasions. It does put a mark on the PPF a bit initially with the suction on but does disappear with the sun. With both wheels off I was able to fit my Yeti in the trunk. The trunk is even big enough for a tent and 3 lounge chairs for track days
Awesome! Great to know it can be done. What frame size is your Yeti?
It is large. Down side is you have to clean your bike before putting in back in. I brought my bike so I can race it the next day which is half way between the track and home. I keep my seasucker in my trunk most of the time . Takes very little room.
Also use it for traveling so I can put my bike on a rental car.
