Retrofit Comand in Australia ver W204
Hi all,
Just wondering is there anyone in sydney who has done this, i 've gained plenty of information regarding the parts and the knowledge neeeded. I just want to share my interest in anyone who has actually completed the project in Sydney or anyone who wanted to give it a go in real life.
In the mean time, I have ordered all the parts together with the VIM in transit, i am yet to order the australian maps from the dealer as i would expect i will get stuck and i would like to know anyone in sydney could actually show me how to reformat/modify the hard disk so that i can make the nav to accept the update for the aust maps.

Ok.. just wanted to inform everyone who would like to retrofit Comand APS in a AUS delivered W204 is absolutely possible and easy.
I got all my parts from ebays and arrived in a week, everything plug and play, no issue with the star system at all. Everything works like a charm including navigation with the 2009 AUS / NZ maps, bluetooth , backup camera...
I believe the car should come standard with that.
