2012 ML350 Diesel
Fuel economy
I have a 2012 ML350 with 250,000klm on it apart from a couple of services it's always been done by a MB dealer and no issues apart from a broken push start button and normal service items. Recently I've noticed the economy has been falling and I now use between 10-12 litres per 100klm which seems high,this may be because of lockdown and no long drives but I've also noticed the temp gauge doesn't even register 80c which could result in the engine never getting to it's best operating temp; the other issue could be that I need new injectors although everything works as intended. Any thoughts and also does anyone know a good diesel mechanic re the injectors to have them tested and cleaned or replaced.

EuroStar Diesels in Hallam advertise in their magazine
Two others in Bayswater, with Club HQ in Ferntree Gully.
We use an independent in Airport West who is helpful.

President has a ML450 I think, there is option to join MB Germany for a card’, some Dealers offer discounts if a member, Hallam might offer extra if you mention their ad in magazine too.
Some Dealerships have the Club magazine in Parts or new car sales room, they have a good web site too.
