I presume that when you say your phone charges correctly with the cable, you are referring to the cable in your console that you plug into the phone cradle.

Your cable connecting the cradle to the console connection may not be fully seated. I had a connector problem during my initial installation, but since fuly seating the cable everything has been fine. What worked best was removing the cradle from its mount, seating the cable firmly, then re-installing the crade on its mount.

Alternatively, if your cable is OK, you could have a bent or broken contact in the cradle.

Possible solution

If you are using the Mercedes V60 cradle you may have to cut or remove Pin 5 (orange wire). I would talk to Mik first, but when I first installed my v60 with Mikbox, I was not getting a signal. After opening the cradle and removing Pin 5, all worked ok. I know you said it was a power problem but Mik told me that a power problem was the reason he first removed Pin 5.

Make sure you talk to Mik first but it may help you with the problem.
