BIK box?
Has anybody heard of this BIK system?
I saw this link on ebay today for a kit to allow the use of generic Motorola phones with OEM Benz phone kits. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MEWA:IT
Their website (www.benzphone.com ) looks like a cut-and-paste of Mikbox's except with the prices about double.
I'm wondering if it has more capabilities or if they are just reselling Mik's...

I let Mik know about this a few weeks ago. Not sure how he plans to handle it.

And its not so much the fact that they are reselling the Mik-Box but the fact that they didnt change much in their creation (if you can call it that) of their website that sucks.
Maybe Mik said it was OK to use his info or maybe he's getting with his council right now formulating a legal action plan, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
I have had several contacts with Mik
via email and phone and he seems to be a very smart guy so I am almost positive that he's up on this and making some things happen as we speak.

No, he is reselling the Mikbox. If someone would actually clone it, I would sue of course. But he is just reselling, and offering phone service and installation, which I don't do (usually). There are several people throughout the US like him, who rip off the label and resell. I don't mind that, in fact I prefer it - I get my share and its less work for me
