COMAND programming? API? Reference?

Hi everyone,

This might seem a bit crazy, but I'm looking for a programmer's reference book for COMAND 2.0

I am toying with some ideas but I have no idea where to look for a refernce book.

Does anyone have any clues as to where I could go for informaiton?

Thank you.

BMW must release or have had there API released which is why we see so much integration with there system. I'll tell you I would love to see a stealth-one for the comand unit, at one time I was speaking with some guys in NJ who said they almost had it working; I think I need to give them a call and see whats up.

Comand is running linux !

The CPU is made by AXIS and is based on the ETRAX MCM
Have a look here:

Pay attention to the CPU access points (pads) on the underside of comand.
They are under the holes on the bottom metalic plate.
