This has been a problem that occurs at least once a week. My factory 6 disc CD changer jams about 8 out 10 times when I change the cd either by the dash controls or whenever I try to eject the cartridge. The CD gets jammed when the cd is pulled from the magazine and is being read by the laser. I have gotten lucky in the past of getting the CD changer to eject the magazine by hitting it, but it has been jammed for a couple of days and it is frustrating. Has anyone had this problem?

 

I guess that I am the only one.

 

I had to take mine apart once and grease the gears.

I had the same problem, I kept on fiddling with the eject button until I heard some clicking then it came free...Or you can open it up, it's a risk though. You can also take it to the dealer or to some stereo place and have them check it out...but $$$...One more thing, is the cd changer located in the trunk or in the dash panel?

 

Thanks for the response. The CD changer is the factory 6 CD Changer and it is located in the glove box.
