Hi friends i have a s600 w140 import from japan. I live in Australia

The COmand unit on the car looks exactly like this:

Most of the Text on the actual Operating system is in japanese. I have changed the langauge to english, but all it changes is just the softkey Labels.

I need help in getting my TV to work and My sat nave to work.

In australia our TV freqencies are in MHz but on the Unit i only have the option of using KHz Frquencies. Can i somehow change this?

My sat nav is in jpanese. Ive heard i need a Cd to change it to the AUs version biut i cant actually find where to put the CD into (unless it goes into the CD chnager?)

Is there anyway that i can get an English or Australian Firmware Operating System.

Now thats a nice looking unit, looks like they even incorporated the AC/heat controls into it. I inquired at one time to purchase this unit for someone, however I was told that there was never a comand for the old S-Class models.

One of those button on the commend is to open the front and the slot for the CD is behind it. I saw the demo on the Benz dealer.

 

which button? and where did you see this? was it tthe same comand unit?
