Kenwood Excelon HD Problem

Hello, i was hoping someone could help me out. the other day my deck just turned off and the front plate just flipped down and the power would not go back on. the motorized display still works but no sound or display. any advise? thanks!

Only thing you can do is open up the head unit, look inside, take a look at the cable that connects from the display to the main board, and see if that has been disconnected. You'll notice the cable is wrapped around a bar. The cable can easily be ripped.

hmm you could also unplug the unit and power it back up and see if it comes back, sometimes a hard reset will work
