Problems with ice>link plus installation
I have a C220 CDI Estate, 2002 model. It has Audio 10 CC installed with CD changer connections in the glove box. I bought ice>link plus with paser adapter to connect my ipod in the glove box. I wanted to do it myself but later I found out that it's not that simple. So I had a MB technician do it for me. He spent more than 4 hours but without luck.
Acco. to the technician, the adapter won't respond to the wake-up signal from the HU. It does send some signal but the HU/MB computer doesn't recognize it. He also tried to connect it directly to the HU. But same problem!
After over 4 hours of work his conclusion is that something is wrong with the adapter. It is working but is not compatible with the HU. Technician thinks that it is possible that the adapter we have is for Audio 10 CD, which is newer & has different software version.
I contacted Dension Sweden, acco. to them, there's no adapter for Audio 10 CD so it can't be the version problem. They are sending me a new ice>link plus unit.
Any ideas what might be the problem?

hi,
i have the same configuration, and it works. But : have you got the Bose sound system ? If yes, you need to do some minor adjustments to the cable. if you give me your email adress i'll be glad to send you all the info you need to attach the device to your audio 10 CC ! my email is wimpytron@telenet.be
