SL500z,
Your OBD II Scantool connector will not work with COMAND as is. You need to make/buy an OBD cable with pin 13 wired.

Richard,
Please send me a PM with a hint or something on how to communicate with the COMAND ECU and what should the 224d04 be changed to activate the TV in motion.

You can't change anything with the OBD2 scan tool. To make changes you will need the DAS (Star Diagnostic) computer.

The interface I have is from AutoEnginuity. I think I just need to send it in and have the CAN daughterboard added. I have seen OBDII programmers like the Predator for Chevy Corvettes that do make system changes through the OBD connector, so I would think there might be a way....

Is there any online documentation on what you can do in the COMAND Diagnosis screens?
