EPC Help
I have the 01/2005 edition of the EPC Compact Plus for my 463 G class. I've never had good luck w/ previous EPCs. They never work. This one installed fine, but whenever I try to run it I get a message "wrong disk inserted". The make of the software is ProQuest Business Solutions version 0.11.4.3.
It loads fine, validates the 463 135 2032 code entered for the G, seems to install, and prompts me for a reboot. After rebooting I try and run the EPC I get "Wrong Disk Inserted" message. Is there a file or something on the disk that would indicate where the problem is or some trick to get around this error?
This was the 1st EPC ever installed on a new computer w/ XP PRO service pack 2. I've tried re-installing, the same problem occurs. I've also tried the codes for the 461 and 460 Gs. Same problem. The codes for earlier versions of the EPC won't even validate.

I just had a really simple idea -
I have a dealer contact that will order me just about anything at wholesale prices. If I had the Mercedes part number for the EPC my odds might be pretty good.
Does anybody have the part numbers for the complete DVD EPC and also the G specific EPC? Newest versions would be best, especially since I have XP Pro.

Nice thought ..... since compact EPC is very common in Germany for trades and repairers.
