MP3 CD changer retrofit
I'd like to install (retrofit) in my C-class 2005 (with Europeen Comand) a new cd changer ref A211 870 38 89 (MOST + MP3 compatible).
Does anyone knows the way to follow. Is it possible on a C-class Comand, Is it Plug and play (without any firmware update and star diagnose process). Are the cables the same foe W211 and W203.

Yes it can be done, I have one with me also, but it will not fit correctly in the glove box. It's a bit long. You might as well wait for the correct fitting one which should come out in the 2006 C class.

if your car does not have any fiber connected optional features - stardiagnose codinbg IS required in order to make the CD changer vissible for the headunit.
