Sirius Buffering

Is there any way to increase the buffering time in the MB Sirius? There are significant dropouts due to overhanging trees, etc. The XM I had in my previous car buffered for 4-8 seconds which eliminated a lot of problems with the quick dropouts.

Probably not. It is partially due to the fact that Sirius uses less repeators in the cities than XM. I have had both and experienced the same thing you are describing.

There aren't any setting that can be influenced, even with DAS. There isn't much diagnostic info either, just power supply and antenna. Too bad, I wish there was a way.
