Help with Bose CD changer

Help with Bose CD changer
I bought my 99 C230k in aug of '03 and they said they gave me a brand new Bose 6 disc CD changer (totally BS) cause after a year it broke ( it doesnt recognize the CD changer at all). The dealer told me it had to be replaced ($900) i told them to shove it. I even went to a bose store and they said they cant really help me. (more bs). So I have a bose cd changer in my car that does not work? Any suggestions?

help
hi i'm new to the forum but are you sure that is a bose changer and not mb, it can be repair by me if it is a mb changer, i'm electronic tech and work on alpine products for alpine for oem car audio and bmw, if you need help to get it working just let me know.

the problem is it wont recognize the 6 disc cd tray. it keeps saying "no magazine" or no CD. From what i can remember they told me it was a bose, i know the c230k dont have any bose audio in them so i figured it was just the cd changer, it could of been just a ploy or maybe the sales guy didnt even know. Which wouldnt surprise me. $900 for a regular 6 disc cd changer is totally outragous, and if its not even a bose then those asses were totally trying to screw me. Anyway im not sure how i should go about fixing it? they told me it needed to be replaced but i doubt that. Its just not recongnized the magazine.
