Info on location on stock amps
Picked up a use E55. The stock radio has been replaced by the previous owner with an Alpine Multimedia/Nav Head Unit. I am pretty sure he is using the receivers amp to power the speakers located at the door panel. The Subs on the E55 has been disabled.
I need info on where the factory amp is located in the E55 if they do have an seperate amp like the BMW's.

Stock Bose amp location

On my 00E55, the stock Bose amp is located behind in the trunk, on the driver side, behind the carpeted panel just above the rear wheel fender.
