Question Any tried submitting feedback to Navteq?

I've noticed a few errors on the 01/05 navigation CD, has anyone tried submitting feedback to Navteq, if did your issue get resolved?

Errors, or areas that are not covered on the disc? I noticed that my parents' address does not show up on the cd, but this is not surprising since they live in a very small rural town.

Errors, incorrectly named or numbered roads.

I have submitted errors to Navteq: roads listed as one way when they are two way, and completely absurd routings as a result. Its like talking to a pillow. No response and no changes on subsequent discs. Maybe someone else has had or will have better luck.

Some of the errors are intentional. They allow prosecution for theives who make and sell copies of the CD/DVD's.

I told them (be e-mail) that they misspelled the name of the street that I live on (which runs 4 blocks total, with a sign at each corner). They sent me an e mail assuring me that the street name is spelled corectly the way they show it on the DVD, not the way it is spelled on each of the street signs.

Idiots!

Talking Spelling

LOL!

Perchance are there some former Microsoft execs working for them? "It's not a bug, it's an undocumented feature"

Yes, I sent them feedback about adding Starbucks on the West Coast and they did add them as I suggested. After the inital feedback email I got another one about 3 months later explaining what they had added. They are now there in the latest software release.

My car uses the DVD but I would assume that they both reference the same database.
