Hi, I have a problem that no one in the united states can seem to help me with. I have a mercedes audio 10 cd player and its a european model in an american car. My problem is that I blew the fuse and when I replaced it, it asked me for the security code, which didn't come with the vehicle. I have contact MBUSA, my local dealer, and the previous owner of the car and can still not find the correct security code for this model.

What I've been told is that this model is european, hence I would need to contact someone in Germany/Europe to get the code. I'm asking that if anyone here on this board lives in Germany or Europe, and either works for a mercedes dealer or has access to one, can help me find the code. You would be saving me a lot of trouble as my only next option is to replace the radio. I really need this code and anyhelp in getting it would be sincerely appreciated. Heres the necissary info:

Mercedes Audio 10 CD
Serial: AL 29101 1 07 96197

Anyhelp would be sincerely appreciated. I haven't had music in my car for over two weeks. Thanks again.

Well the unit is made by Alpine, notice the serial starts with AL. But if becker can help, do you know how I would be able to contact them?
