Radio volume on start-up

Radio volume on start-up
In my BMW, everytime you turn on the car the radio plays at the same reasonably low volume. So, if you were cranking it loud when you turned the car off, when you turn the car on the next time, it will be low, not loud. Cool feature. Does the W211 E55 radio do the same thing or do you have to remember to turn the radio down upon leaving car?

If you were singin' & screamin' along with your favorite song with the sun roof open when you came home and shut the car down late Saturday night, when you get in and start it up on Sunday morning with bloodshot eyes, your gonna jump right out of your skin from the noise, because it will be at the same loud volume.
