W203: Sub Install w/ Bose System
I just got my car a few months ago. I'm pretty satisfied with how the Bose system sounds. I just want to add a little bass to balance everything out. I have an Alpine M350 with an Infinity Perfect 10.1 sub. My question is, how would I add this onto my Bose system? When I did my Comand install, I didn't see any speaker wire behind the unit. I tried searching and kept coming up with different answers. A few people mentioned tapping into the stock amp and sub? I don't think mine has a sub. I have the 2 door, and there appears to only be one tweeter and 2 speakers in each door. Unless they hid my sub somewhere, I don't see or hear it. My other question is...the back of the COMAND has a few other plugs. Could I somehow tap into one of the harnesses or pins to use it as a line out for my amp? I just bought a speaker to RCA converter. If I plug the rear left and right +/- connections from this into the stock harness, will it produce the signal I need? Thanks!
