Hi,

I've a mercedes C Class sportcoupè 220 cdi (2001 year) and i woud to install the navigator that i've just bought . HOW TO REMOVE THE DASHBOARD? That is, how to remove the metal panel that start from the central air vet to the central arm support and that covers the 4 scrow which will support the navigator?

Thanks

YOu need to pull out the air vents first. Each side has one screw on the bottom corner. If you pop the vent up, you can access these screws. Then, you can tilt the "metal panel" down. You don't need to pull it off all the way to get at the radio/comand, but i'd recommend it. If you pull off the other panels first, you can remove the whole panel around the radio. You need to pull out the panel with the shift boot, and also the shelf/compartment in the ashtray area. There's clips on the bottom of the panel that goes around the radio. Once you get these off, you can remove the whole peice.
