Ipod background noise?
Ihave a comand(w211,05) and MB original ipod kit. Sounds quality is fine but there is background noise in playing ipod. More volume up, more noise louder.
My ipod is 5th generation ipod, 60G.
How can I solve this problem?

and not related RPM or engine on/off. Always it can be heard.
It is decreased when I down treble volume and increased with treble volume up , but relationship with bass volume adjustment.

Check to see if you have the "AUX" audio input plug in your glove box. If you do plug you audio out form you ipod directly into the aux in the glove box. If the sound is clear then the problem is most likely in the ipod kit. I would bring it back to the dealer with this disclosure.
