Hello all
This is my first post!
I have a 2006 E280 CDI fitted with command, i want to play dvds over 5mph!!!
Can this be switched off? Ther is a guy in the UK selling on ebay the guide to decoding this feature via the buttons?
I suppose there must be an override code or somthing?

Nothing MB related (sorry)
Peter is from London... so he has a Euro spec comand in dash that has DVD capability. Unlike the US spec W211 comands.
Besides, rrpnow, you have a 2006 C-class - and the comand units that are available for the 2005+ W203 can't be compared to the W211 comand systems.

2005+ W203 (DVD) comand - these units can NOT be versioncoded for TV / DVD while in motion. You would need an aftermarket device to enable this feature. You can contact MBenzNL in order to obtain this part.

Pre 2005 W203 (CD-rom!) comand - yes, you can get TV while in motion versioncoded with the Stardiagnose system. Benzmodz on this forum should be able to help you out with this. He is located in Australia as well.
2005+ W203 (DVD) comand - these units can NOT be versioncoded for TV / DVD while in motion. You would need an aftermarket device to enable this feature. You can contact MBenzNL in order to obtain this part.
