I have same year and make with a 6 disc dvd changer by panasonic installed in the trunk. It runs off the blank button on the command unit and a wireless remote. I have the U.S. command unit and it was programmed to accept the dvd
input with the wiring harness. Also I ran a ipod to the aux input. It does not charge or show the titles but the sound is clear.
