Satellite Antenna Sealth Install R171
Hi Everybody,
I'm thinking of getting Satellite radio for my car (SLK R171). I was hoping you guys could help me. For you guys that have Satellite Radio, is there an external antenna mounted on the trunk? I've been reading that for couples and sedans there is an antenna mounted on the trunk. I hear that roadsters and cabs have a stealth install. This question is for dealer installed Satellite Radio.
I made the mistake of not researching first before installing satellite radio on my CLK (Coupe) and they drilled a hole in my trunk and now I have a huge antenna on the trunk.
So does the SLK R171 have an external antenna for satellite radio? Where is the satellite antenna mounted on the R171? The dealer is charging me $721.99 + labor, does that sound right to you guys?
