audio 10
hey all,
i have donw many searches on this forum and opinions are mixed about upgrading to non-MB HU.
so i decided the only viable option to upgrade sound quality is by getting audio 10, but most people realize significant sound gain on stock non-bose system, and mainly the radio.
given i never hear radio and ONLY listens to CD and i hav stock bose audio, would i realize significant gain by getting audio 10 on my bose system at a rate like people upgradin from stock non-bose system?

i had Audio 10. i upgraded to Audio 10 for my 99 E320 to gain dash CD
access and maintain factory appearance. no, there was not much gain in
quality of sound. one would be nitpicking to conclude that. by far, you
will gain quality over looks if going to decent aftermarket HU. dollar for
dollar, you will benefit from non MB brand as you will have broader selec-
tion of features such as MP3 playback, remote, onboard memory for loading
MP3s, equalizer, panel display of titles, aux in, Ipod interface, etc etc.
