There is no obvious Audio Input into my sound system.

Someone said there might be one behind the glove box but mercedes says there isn't likely to be.

Anyone know how to dismantle glove box to look. If there isn't an input anyone know the solution or how I could find the solution?

There isnt one on the COMAND2.5 system - the electronics is used for the tape player ... which means the S class only got it with the widescreen comand that appeared around MY03

There is a repair shop that does a beautiful audio tap on the 2.5 commands... It goes directly into the audio line between the fm tuner and the preamp. No loss of sound quality and all it needs is a 5v or 12v trigger. Check it out at www.mercedesradiorepair.net

And the COMAND 2.0 for newer ('05-'06) S class doesn't have one either (and no tape player). Anyone know where a good tap location is for the 2.0?
