Will this tool help get my headunit out for my year benz?
Hey guys, I'll get to the point.
I need to remove the headunit in my 1993 400sel, is this the right tool? It's the stock headunit with 10cd changer in the rear, if that helps any?

Basically, my mechanic/electrician/friend :-p, needs to take the headunit out because another audio installer botched up an install and it's shorting out, killing the battery.
Thanks and sorry for the dumb question...

Correct tool
The tool is correct. The correct one to use out of the 3 is the one facing upwards in the picture to the left. As it is facing now, this would be the one to slide into the right side slot. Once both have been inserted, you will feel then click in place. Once in place, apply slight pressure on the tool to make it move towards door i.e. right tool gets pushed towards right door and left tool gets puched towards left door. As you push, start slowly pulling on the stereo. Once out about half an inch you can remove the tool and pull the stereo out all the way by hand.
