w203 COMAND Question
Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me here.
I have a yr.2002 c180, Australian (Probably same as UK) version. A friend of mine have this COMAND unit with part number: A 203 827 54 42, from his 2004 c-class (probably Japanese version). It has a 16:9 screen and I remember he also mentions that it is capable of playing DVD (?!?).
As far as I know, DVD is only available for 2005 w203, with totally different wiring and stuff.
What are the difference between those unit with one that was specifically made for my car? More importantly, will those unit fully compatible (hence fully functioning) with my car? How about the navigation? Will I be able to use Australian CD-based nav in that unit?
