24,000 Eu. for a cell phone .. Hmm I think thats the base price of the C-class ...but if i had this money (to spare for a phone) id definately buy it..

I noticed you can "Tailor your Vertu", where you can select the metal for the phone and for the buttons. The choices? Platinum, 18K gold, 18K white gold, and stainless steel. Aparrantly they are all the same price, so why would you get stainless steel?
Aparrantly one of the big features is the "Vertu Concierge", a live operator who can "locate tickets to the theatre, reserve your table at a top resturant, make your spa appointment, or arrange your travel". I wonder what would happen if you got one of these phones, and told the concierge, "I need to talk to the President right away".
The Vertu locations are in Singapore and Paris. Not exactly convenient. Of course, I get the impression that they would fly anywhere in the world meet you and demonstrate the phone and services.
The phone itself looks cool. The "sapphire crystal display" sounds like it is more expensive than a standard liquid crystal display (LCD). It's just a phone that's been turned into a piece of high-tech jewlery though.
Anyway, "luxury communications" is the theme here. Although depending on what the monthly service fees are, it might be cheaper to simply hire yourself a personal assistant.

yeah screw having to call the concierge..for that price.. i'll just hire a hot PA who will give it up when ever I want it

The prices Vary a lot..
The platinum is 24,000 while the Steel is about 7,000 Euro.
But heck I dun mind the Steel one either if i had money for a phone.
But then for that much I'd buy myself another Plasma for my wife so she'd quit bi*ching lol!
